My love affair with Yoga began over 13 years ago, and has blossomed into something that is such a huge part of who I am, I could not imagine my life without it. I began teaching in Albuquerque in 2006, and every day since has been a blessing. My own practice as well as my classes are a fusion of my experiences in Yoga; the Dharma teachings of my very first instructor, Hatha and Iyengar from my 200hr training with High Desert Yoga, Vinyasa Flow from my trainings and master trainer apprenticeship with YogaFit, as well as what I've learned about Power Yoga from immersions with Baron Baptiste, classes with Gina Caputo and Shiva Rea, and all of the other teachers and students I have been blessed to share experiences with. I am inspired by nature, music, and love. The result is a flowing, dynamic, and devotional expression of mind, body, and breath, tapping into the creativity, fluidity, sensuality, and movement within every living being. Since opening Orange Yoga, our little sacred space in the north valley, on Valentine's Day in 2011, each day I am reminded of opportunities for growth and gratitude that are truly humbling. Now as I venture into another blessed calling as a birth doula, divine feminine shakti is abundant and powerful! This beautiful life. Yoga is a celebration of heart, soul, and individuality... Namaste
